Michelle Kaston began her fiber journey at a young age, learning to sew from her mother, and quickly advanced to designing her own clothing. A decade ago, she fell into a bad crowd of spinners and was hooked for life. However, the colors available didn't meet her fantasies of vivid, color-intense fair isles and other patterns. So Michelle dyed them herself. In 2013, she launched Essential Fiber, where she gets to enjoy the science and art of color.
