Half day class, offered once
Saturday, April 21st, 9am-noon
The long hours of summer’ daylight encourage us to “get up and go” and yet it is awfully nice to find a reason to sit in the shade and be useful. This is a spindle spinning class for the cotton enthusiast. We will make punis, dress a wrist distaff, then use hand supported ahka, bowl supported Tahkli and ancient bead whorl spindles. If you have had some, zero or a “fair kip” of experience spinning cotton, join the party. All tools and fibers supplied for the duration of the class.
Materials fee: $20
Class Level: Can spin a continuous thread
