Half day class, offered twice

Saturday, April 22nd, 9am-noon
The double draft produces a unique yarn, often fluffy, elastic and soft.. Its’ form, process and resultant yarn is dependent on the fiber, its’ condition and nature. It is a classic one-handed draw for cotton because it embraces fiber qualities that feed this draft: a short stapled, relatively slick, soft fiber. It also can be used on short fine wools and hairs.
This is an introductory class to this drafting style and as you fall in love with it, you master it with practice later. It becomes a “waltz with fibery anticipation”.
