9am-5pm with 12pm-2pm break

This class is a great introduction for those new to natural dyeing and a skill expander for those that have some experience already. In this class we will create a rainbow of colors while covering how to extract dye from natural dyestuffs, using natural dye extracts, overdyeing, and modifying colors through the use of an iron after bath. We will talk through mordanting though that will not happen during class time. We will dye yarn, combed top, and washed fleece in class.
