Tuesday, April 18th – 9-noon

In this hands-on, beginner Drum Carding Class, students will make two batts using a variety of basic techniques and tools: both hand crank and motorized carders, woolen and worsted preparations, and fleece as well as processed fiber. Students timid about using their carder at home will leave with working knowledge and confidence in their drum carding abilities. All materials, carders, and tools will be provided by the instructors.

Materials fees: $25 – covers use of a carder, all fiber carded during class, and batt lifter refills for storing carded batts.
